The Lion Lays Down with the Lamb

Children’s Sermon, January 21, 2018

By Aaron Lesinski, age 10

When you hear about the lion laying down with the lamb, what do you think that means?  The lion and the lamb are natural enemies but sometimes things need to get along. When we don’t get along it hurts God because it makes people sad when people say mean things to each other. Jesus would want us to treat each other nicely even when we don’t get along. Jesus taught us to pray for each other and to get along by being kind and helpful to others.

If I let Jesus out of my heart I will not only be sad I’ll be heart broken and he will be too.

If you are lonely and no one is around you will not be lonely forever because Jesus is around.

If you’re sad and you’re mad just think of the time when Jesus was resurrected from the dead.

If you’re alone and no one is around, go to the church and turn your frown upside down.

You should be like the lion and the lamb, if you don’t get along then Jesus will frown.
